Bill Clinton Accuses Tea Party Of Lying About Illegal Immigration

Bill Clinton is lying through his teeth. Immigration did not build the tea party base! It's starting, they are campaigning for Hillary and denigrating the Tea Party while bolstering their base.

Speaking at the economic summit today, Bill Clinton accused the Republicans, specifically the Tea Party, of lying about illegal immigration in an effort to gin up support among the base. Clinton said that the Tea Party created a narrative that illegals are all trying to get into the country in order to build support among the Tea Party.

Remember, folks, that Bill Clinton is, first, foremost, and always, about Bill Clinton.  They don't call him the "Big Me" for nothing.  If Hillary could somehow get back to the White House, he goes in with her.  And as she said over twenty-two years ago, they are, and quite clearly remain, a "blue plate special".

But, contra Darla Dawald, if there is a 2016 election, it won't be for another two and a half years.  So this whopper from Mr. Bill can't really be characterized as "campaigning for Hillary".  Nothing anybody says now is going to have any measurable impact on what happens then.  Ergo, what's Sick Willie's motivation here?

Mostly reflex, it seems to me.  Sharks eat, swim, and make little sharks.  Bill Clinton used to eat, jog, f**k, and lie.  He can't do (much) of the first three anymore, but he can still indulge in #4 all he likes.  And he still does it better than anybody else, mainly by being almost unaware that he's doing it.  Or what some people know as "method acting".  And certainly lying about illegal immigration in order to lie about the Tea Party lying about illegal immigration is a S.H.I.E.L.D. Level-7 pretzel that Red Barry or the Empress couldn't pull off.

Hell, maybe it's like baseball spring training, or NFL training camp.  He's getting the ol' prevaricator back into shape for the grand, national stage performances to come.  Heaven knows, his wife's gonna need it, because she sure as shinola can't handle it.  At that point, the "First Dude" may make all the difference.
