Corona Constitution Class, Inaugural Session

By Douglas V. Gibbs

After six years of a Constitution Class in Temecula, and a couple of classes in Murrieta, Doug's Constitution Class has finally come home to Corona.  Tonight, May 6, 2014, at 6:00 pm we will be meeting in the upstairs classroom at AllStar Collision, 522 Railroad Street in Corona (on the left hand side along Railroad before you get to Cota, if you are coming from Grand Ave and Main Street).

Since this is a new class, we are going to start with the basics.  Lesson 01, a brand new lesson written specifically for this class, is titled, "We the People."  It focuses on the Preamble, the language used to construct the Preamble, and historical influences on the United States Constitution.

The class is for one hour.  A new website has been created, and will have the handouts, and important links, on it in the near future.  Find it at CoronaConstitutionClass.blogspot.com.

Remember, each session stands on its own, so if you can't make it tonight, feel free to join us next week.

On Thursday, the Temecula Constitution Class will meet at Faith Armory on Winchester Road at 6:30 pm.  We are in Article I, Section 8, and the first topic will be the Commerce Clause.
