The bombing of a popular market in China’s Xinjiang region killed 31 people and injured more than 90.
No official group has claimed responsibility for the two blasts, but blame is being sheeted home to the Uighur community which lives mainly in Xinjiang.
A group of men drove in a petrol station and threw two bombs at gas tanks causing a major explosion.
The Xinjiang region, in China’s far west, is home to the Uighur community, a minority Muslim ethnic group.
