True, it's difficult to see the viability of a statute requiring Barack Obama to "faithfully execute the laws" when he ignores existing laws he dislikes already. And true, there's no reason to suppose that he has any more respect for the Judicial branch than he does the Legislative branch, so congressional lawsuits would simply be ignored by the White House like they do everything else they dislike. And, more to the point, he can and will veto this bill if it ever reaches his desk - which it won't because Dirty Harry (G)Reid will throttle it when it arrives in the upper chamber anyway. As I keep pointing out, there is no way to use the law to restrain a lawless president.
But you can't not like Gowdy's floor speech in support of the Enforce The Law Act, even if the applause of his colleagues was something less than "thunderous".
