Meet the man who is going to end Kay Hagen's brief, forgettable footnote of a Senate career.
Chris Stirewalt made the critical point and I'm so glad he did: If Republican primary voters make the right choice in each state - which is to say, nominating the candidate with the best chance of winning in each state, whether that's a Tea Partier, and "establishmentarian," or a RINO - that will be the difference between taking just enough seats to reach 51 and upheaving the Senate to reach as many as 57. The name of the game is not "purity," it's getting rid of Democrats. Period.
Given that Senator Hagan spent a fortune trying to take out Thom Tillis in the GOP primary, I'd say North Carolinian 'Pubbies made the right choice.
