Yesterday morning, after skipping through a few channels on the television, I settled for just a moment on Bloomberg TV. The host was reading listener correspondence, and the two she read revealed the frustration of the voters that Obama has not jailed bankers for their predatory practices, and investment banking lack of ethics.
I don't know what the topic was, or why these people felt the desire to write their emails to Bloomberg, but the narrative fit the Democrat propaganda message. . . "The federal government exists to control the private industry and local governments to make sure they behave in a manner that is 'fair' and 'equitable.'"
A quick scan through current news reveals the same trend.
According to the Associated Press, Obama is taking "executive steps" regarding student loans. "He's" expanding the pay as you earn program, not allowing the payments to be more than 10% of income. Never mind Congress, "He" is taking these steps.
"Obama plans to start allowing those who borrowed earlier to participate, potentially extending the benefit to millions more borrowers."
Where in the Constitution does it give the President this kind of power where "He" can start "allowing" or "disallowing"? And since when is it the federal government's, much less the President of the United States, job to cushion the blow because someone over-borrowed for an education that probably won't land them in any better job because the value of the bachelors degree has been cheapened by the Democrat Party's drive to get one in everyone's hands? Individuality, self-reliance, and personal responsibility is being tossed out the window by an administration that refuses to recognize that the federal government has no authority over internal issues.
But it doesn't stop there.
The great king, savior Obama, is being credited with averting a labor union strike in Philadelphia, too.
Notice the language used by NPR.
"President Obama has stepped in to end a commuter rail strike in Philadelphia."
No wonder we have an uninformed voting public that swoons over the man. If you were to believe the news, there is nothing this man can't do. He's everywhere, saving the planet from global warming, saving students struggling with loans, going after mean ol' bankers, and now saving the economy and jobs market by "stepping in" to end a commuter rail strike.
I can hear the conversations in Philadelphia. "Not only did he save jobs by helping put an end to the strike, but now all of us folk dependent upon the rail will still be able to get to the welfare office."
"We Democrats are sick and tired of Republicans constantly using the Constitution to cover up their true plans, which are to make us all afraid of everyone else. Our great president came from a civilized part of the country where there is strict gun control, and he is only trying to bring the benefits of that more modern way of living to the rest of us. I don’t know the exact statistics, but I’m quite certain that Chicago is a lot safer that Morehead City, when it comes to gun violence."
During the Tumblr session, we are told, "Obama turned emotional when one user asked about school shootings. Obama's comments came just a few hours after the shooting death of a high school student in Oregon."
His "biggest frustration" as president, Obama said, has been that "this society has not been willing to take some basic steps" to keep guns away from people who "can do just unbelievable damage."
The president again criticized Congress for blocking a proposal to expand background checks for gun buyers and said too many lawmakers are "terrified" of the National Rifle Association and other gun rights groups.
In other words, how dare Congress act in a manner opposing the king.
The next sentence in the NPR article continues the narrative that Obama is king.
"On Saturday, Obama granted Republican Gov. Tom Corbett's request for the creation of an emergency board to mediate the contract issues."
I didn't know that the President has the power to grant to Congress how they set up their committees and boards. Oh, wait, according to Article I, Section 5 of the United States Constitution, "Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings."
Barack Obama steps in, he allows, he grants, and he orders.
"Obama ordered the establishment of the three-member board effective at 12:01 a.m. Sunday. He called for "a swift and smooth resolution" of the dispute between the Southeast Pennsylvania Transportation Authority and its engineers and electricians unions.
He "ordered" them to come to a swift and smooth resolution, and after a horrific dispute, when Obama spoke, his command was followed. When King Obama calls for something, his minions jump.
"Obama is giving the board 30 days to deliver a report recommending how the dispute should be resolved."
Obama ordered them to resolve it, and they jumped. How merciful and good is King Obama, the savior of America.
The President eats this stuff up, too. His narcissism believes he is king, the all-powerful ruler of America. That is why he speaks to his opponents in a manner where he tries to shame them, like he is the parent and we are just a bunch of foolish children.

From USA Today:
"President Obama said Tuesday the nation should do "some soul-searching": over its epidemic of deadly gun violence and "should be ashamed" it has been unable to address it."

Because King Obama knows best, right?
The gun-control conversation that Obama provided his kingly wisdom during was a Tumbler question-and-answer session.
The gun-control conversation that Obama provided his kingly wisdom during was a Tumbler question-and-answer session.
"We're the only developed country on Earth where this happens," Obama said during the session.
"And it happens now once a week," Obama added. "And it's a one-day story. There's no place else like this."
Only developed country? Are we then a third world country because we protect the right to keep and bear arms? And we have shootings once a week? Really? So we've had 265 shootings during his presidency?

Oh, wait, that's right, in Chicago, Detroit, Washington D.C., and New Orleans we do have constant shootings, and those happen dang-near daily. Those are four cities that, by the way, have the toughest gun control laws in the United States.
It is depressing when I hear about uninformed democrat voters spewing the opposite.
From a letter to an editor in North Carolina:
"We Democrats are sick and tired of Republicans constantly using the Constitution to cover up their true plans, which are to make us all afraid of everyone else. Our great president came from a civilized part of the country where there is strict gun control, and he is only trying to bring the benefits of that more modern way of living to the rest of us. Yes, that is what these people actually think.

That's okay, he'll use his pen and his phone to eventually unilaterally create an atmosphere where he can make sure our guns are confiscated, without the benefit of the consent of the people.
Just remember, the Drug Cartels emerged as the dominant force in Mexico after that country enacted strict gun control measures that basically made it impossible for the average law-abiding citizen to own a firearm.
Then, Obama made a comparison that should have floored America. . . if the media had been willing to make a big deal about this statement. . .
After claiming "our levels of gun violence are off the charts," Obama decided to note that Australia enacted gun control laws after a single mass shooting, and hasn't had one since.
What he left out was that after Australia enacted their gun control laws, the incidents of violent crime went up, as did home invasions. Murder by firearm also increased. Incidents of rape tripled. The criminal element was no longer careful on how they chose their victims, because now they knew everybody was defenseless, helpless, and a perfect target - and the criminal element remained armed. The same happened in Great Britain after their gun confiscation in 1997.

But King Obama would somehow make the bad guys behave, or at least that is what I am thinking his voters are thinking. After all, look at how he's convinced the bad guys in Iraq to behave.
Oh, wait, never mind.
Tumblr users even asked Obama for career advice, and what kinds of college majors they should pursue. After all, who better to ask about career advice than someone who has never held down a job in the private sector? I was surprised the response wasn't, "Listen to King Obama, the best pursuit to ensure my policies continue beyond my presidency is community organizer, and social agitator. Join my civilian army."
Not yet. He hasn't amassed enough control, yet. But with the Democrats shipping in children from south of the border, and allowing every illegal alien into the country they can so that they can release them into conservative enclaves (500 a week are being released into Murrieta, California), it won't be long before a nation packed with undocumented aliens will turn the tide, and keep the conservative opposition out of the White House forever. . . or at least that is their plan.
