In early June of 2014, a few citizens of Murrieta became aware that a massive influx of illegal aliens were about to be brought into their city. Border crossers were already a regular import since 2013, but now the number was going to jump from 40 in the middle of the night every once in a while, to a couple hundred every 72 hours. The people of Murrieta sprang into action, and by July 1, when bus loads of illegals were being brought in, a crowd in excess of two hundred people stood in the way, and turned the buses around.
The confrontation became international news, and nationally cities protested against illegal immigration in support of Murrieta.
I was fortunate enough to be privileged to be a part of that effort, and even more blessed to have the opportunity to participate in some television and radio interviews regarding the event.
Today, a college student filmed Diana Serafin, and I, as he asked us questions about what happened. He plans to make it a documentary.
Sharp student from Cal State Long Beach, who is originally from San Francisco. He was up on the Constitution in ways that surprised me. I hope I get a copy of his presentation when it is finished.
