Thomas Jefferson said, "Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God."
Identifying tyranny is key to knowing whether or not to resist it.
At what point does "resisting tyranny" turn out to be the opposite extreme, "mob-rule?"
In the eyes of many roaming the streets of Ferguson, Missouri, they believe they are resisting tyranny. But are they? Or are they simply criminal mobs lawlessly roaming the streets, committing violence and destruction as a performance of evil, rather than resistance to tyranny?
The latest news suggests that the people demonstrating are being herded like cattle, led to commit their violence. They are nothing less than slaves to the liberal left's wishes, being led around by a leash.
Tyranny uses chaos, needs division, and creates crisis so that those that desire to rule can accomplish the tyrannical deeds they normally could not.
Limited government is the essence of liberty. Big government is the tools used by tyrants to enslave the people.

Individual responsibility has become passe in today's society. Our media, and liberals in general, love the idea of minorities being perpetual victims, and there is a fervent effort to convince the "victims" themselves that they are, indeed, victims. What better way is there for liberals to maintain their voter base than to convince the electorate that they are helpless and in need of government intervention?
