NFL Week 4 Predictions

by JASmius

LAST WEEK STRAIGHT UP: 12-4
LAST WEEK vs. SPREAD: 12-4

SEASON STRAIGHT UP: 29-19
SEASON vs. SPREAD: 22-26

Now that's more like it.  At least for a week, anyway.

The Champs got back on track in a game that I'm sure the League and every football fan outside the Pacific Northwest was grousing should have been the one that unfolded almost eight months ago at the Snoopy Bowl.  To which I beg to differ only in the sense that epic Super Bowl beat-downs are the hallmark of legendary, all-time great teams.  Dynasties, if you will.  And the 'hawks' has just begun.

But however you get there, we beat Peyton Manning and the Broncos then, and we beat them a week ago.  And who knows?  The trifecta may manifest at the Glendale Toaster a little over four months from now.  For the Forehead (or "Fivehead," as some waggishly refer to him), the adage "Be careful what you wish for" comes to mind.

Exit question: After a reprise of Super Bowl XLVIII in Super Bowl XLVIX, would that be enough to convince PM to call it a career?  Futility can be ignored for only so long, y'know.
