NFL Week 6 Kickoff

by JASmius

Let me be the first to say that I have no idea where to rank the Houston Texans Oilers.  They handled crap teams like the Oakland Raiders and Washington [CENSORED BY THE WHITE HOUSE]s pretty easily; they split against equally as inscrutable clubs, dropping a contest to the N.Y. Giants at the Snoopy Bowl but eking out a win over the Buffalo Bills at home.  And then they took the 4-1 Dallas Cowboys to the limit last Sunday, but I'm still not convinced "America's Team" isn't overachieving, a fact that will be nationally exposed when they visit the Champs three days from now.

So how good is Houston?  And will tonight's game be that long-awaited barometer?

We do know what the Colts are: a playoff contender playing in the NFL's worst division and facing the softest 2014 schedule in the league.  Which means Indy will have an inflated record, probably grab the #2 seed behind Denver and a first round bye, then get drilled in the divisional round by the Chargers.

But can they take down the upstart Texans Oilers on the road?

Yup.

Indianapolis* (-2.5)
Houston

If not, the AFC South may want to consider not sending a representative to the playoffs.
