NFL Week 6 Predictions

by JASmius

LAST WEEK STRAIGHT UP: 11-4
LAST WEEK vs. SPREAD: 7-8

SEASON STRAIGHT UP: 46-30
SEASON vs. SPREAD: 34-42

Not bad, given that that includes the Patriots' bounce-back at the Bengals' expense, which I should have seen coming (although the oddsmakers missed it as well).  Which simply confirms what I originally figured about both teams: the Patriots are still in the league's elite while Cincinnati is still second-tier.

Are the 3-1 Cardinals for real?  Nope, as the Broncos demonstrated last Sunday.  Are the 4-1 Cowboys for real?  Nope, as the Champs will demonstrate later today, assuming that the sloppy offensive line play against the [CENSORED BY THE WHITE  HOUSE]s - three Percy Harvin touchdowns nullified, three! - was the product of early-season bye week rust.  And remember, we have Russell Wilson, and you all don't.

Although the thing I'm still looking forward to the most is Tony Romo vs. the Legion of Boom.  I highly suspect the latter's interception drought is about to come to an avalanche end.
