Maybe CBS and the NFL Network lost a bet. Or drew the short straw. Or simply cannot schedule games to save their lives. There have been some dog mess matchups on Thursday night so far this season, but televising the woebegone New York Jets (#26 in my power rankings) sacrificing themselves for blooding, gutting, and butchering at the Big Razor against the New England Patriots (#4 in my power rankings) has got to be the worst one yet.
I could make a token gesture of analyzing x's and o's and matchups and whatnot, but really, whafor? Why exacerbate the suffering of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms? Hell, it isn't their fault.
