Christian Woman Ejected From National Cathederal During Muslim Prayers For Proclaiming Jesus Christ As LORD

by JASmius

We knew it was coming, but it still transpired even faster than I imagined that it would:

It all sounds so high-minded: the "Reverend" Canon Gina Campbell says: “This needs to be a world in which all are free to believe and practice and in which we avoid bigotry, Islamaphobia, racism, anti-Semitism, and anti-Christianity and to embrace our humanity and to embrace faith.”

But someone threw a rotting cabbage on their lovely sofa, as DCist laments: “And because love, respect and understanding is too much of a concept for some people to understand, a person interrupted the service. Of course.” Still, the spectacle of a woman being forcibly ejected from what is ostensibly a Christian cathedral for proclaiming that Jesus Christ is LORD just before Muslim prayers are about to begin is at very least evidence that we live in strange times.

Or, more accurately, the End Times:

I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.  But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

This Christian sister, Christine Weick, carried out Paul's exhortation.  Would that all of us be as prepared to boldly proclaim the true Messiah the world hates.  The time is rapidly approaching when beheadings and crucifixions for the "crime" of loyalty to Christ won't just be happening "over there," and forcible ejection will be the best fate for which we can hope and pray.
