He's not wrong about that, you know. Why shouldn't he believe that we're stupid? Why shouldn't he take it for granted? The noodleheadedness of the majority of the American electorate was confirmed for all time two years ago. "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." If a majority of "Us, The People" has finally managed to overcome that fatal bout of cranial-rectal impaction, it was 728 days too late and eight trillion dollars short. And a relapse is all but a certainty.
After all, it's good to be the king.
