90-year-old former President George H.W. Bush is in the hospital after experiencing a "shortness of breath." Bush remains at Houston Methodist Hospital under observation.
Health related issues are a norm for the eldest former president, and with the flu making its rounds, one wonders if the shortness of breath is as serious as a bronchitis-related cough he had a little over a year ago that resulted in him spending Christmas in intensive care. Health problems have also kept the older Bush in reliance of a wheelchair or motorized scooter to get around.
Yet, the former World War II dive bomber (once the youngest bomber in the Navy), when celebrating his 90th birthday in June, marked the occasion with a parachute jump at his family's summer home in Kennebunkport, Maine.
