Way to calm the racial/ethnic waters, Barry:
In Obama’s interview, which will be broadcast Monday evening, he intoned, “[Racism] is something that is deeply rooted in our society....
Half a century or more ago, yes, it was. Today? It would have been left behind years, decades ago if the Obamunist Left didn't have a vested political and electoral interest in stoking and preserving race hatreds - specifically black-on-white animosities - as O's BET appearance redundantly illustrates.
....it’s deeply rooted in our history.
And he's determined to see that it never gets rooted out of it.
When you’re dealing with something as deeply rooted as racism or bias… you’ve got to have vigilance but you have to recognize that it’s going to take some time, and you just have to be steady so you don’t give up when we don’t get all the way there.” He warned, “This isn’t going to be solved overnight.”
i.e. Black supremacy and the enslavement of white Americans will probably have to wait for his fourth or fifth term, depending upon how quickly his illegal amnesty can swamp the "red" states "blue" and facilitate his final coup. In the mean time, his impoverished, brainwashed minions will have to settle for "punishing our enemies" in the streets.
Aware that his charge of racism might turn a few heads....
Like he cares at this point.
....Obama used the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner....
Oh, BOY, is he "using" them.
....to add: “As painful as these incidents are, we can’t equate what is happening now to what was happening fifty years ago. If you talk to your grandparents, parents, uncles, they’ll tell you that things are better — not good, in some cases, but better.
This is his trademark "I'm really just a 'moderate pragmatist,' not a racist radical bomb-thrower" CYA. Not particularly convincing after having spent the rest of the interview preaching precisely the opposite message.
We have to be persistent, because typically progress is in steps. It’s in increments.”
"Progress" towards what, your majesty?
I think we know....
Not sure if Uncle Jeremiah meant to say, "Godbama damn America". If not, then while God will, and likely is, judging America for its genuine sins, O's fantastical rantings will not be among them, And if so, it was a not-so-veiled charge to "Rev'rund" Wright's demidivine protégé - one that he has been carrying out for the past six years, and will continue to do so into the far, far future.
Because in the mind of Barack Hussein Obama, there will never be an end to this "deeply rooted problem" - he will see to it personally.
UPDATE: Like puddles follow a downpour....:
A slim majority believes that race relations have gotten worse since President Obama took office in 2009, according to a poll released Sunday.
The poll was conducted for Bloomberg Politics in the days following a grand jury decision not to indict a white New York City police officer who killed an unarmed black man.
It found that 53% of respondents think race relations have gotten worse under the nation’s first black president.
Thirty-six percent say relations have stayed the same, and only 9% say they have gotten better.
Don't be too quick to interpret the phrase "race relations have gotten better/worse" logically and rationally, folks. To most blacks, it likely means "We haven't gotten to murder nearly enough crackers to avenge Trayvon, Mike Brown, and Eric Garner." In a time when the POTUS himself is doing everything demidivinely possible to maximally poison "race relations," such a survey could hardly have yielded any other result, for reasons that, ironically, reflect the same divisions it was meant to analyze.
