Wait, what was that? "Sergeant" Bergdahl isn't going to be the next White House Chief of Staff? Or be decreed one of Idaho's Senate seats by The One? I mean, I know that he wasn't given the SecDef slot after O got rid of Chuck Hagel, which was a major surprise, but the Regime is actually going to prosecute him for desertion? Seriously?
What happened? Did he convert to Christianity or something?:
Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl, who was reportedly held captive by Taliban militants for five years, will be charged with desertion for leaving his post, according to sources of retired Lieutenant Colonel Tony Schaffer. Bergdahl was only released after President Barack Obama negotiated with the terrorists, agreeing to release five prisoners from Guantanamo Bay.
Schaffer, senior fellow at the London Center for Policy Research, told Bill O’Reilly on Monday night that his sources have confirmed the Army has concluded its investigation and Bergdahl’s lawyer has been given a “charge sheet” informing him of the desertion charge.
“This has been done, the decision has been made,” Schaffer asserted. “And let me be very clear, as a corporate entity, the Army has decided that they want to pursue Bergdahl for this violation.”
Wow. There it is. Maybe Bergdahl voted for a few Republicans back on November 4th.
So why do I have a question mark after the headline above? This:
It’s important to note that Schaffer’s claims have yet to be confirmed by the U.S. Army or government officials.
This could mean that Lieutenant Colonel Schaffer's sources are full of it, or that they're being swerved, although I'm not sure what the White House gets out of discrediting so obscure a military figure, other than just reflexive spite. Or it could be that his imperial majesty is facing a heretofore hidden Army rebellion that, in this instance, seeks to do the right thing and stick Bergdahl's traitorous ass in the stockade, which would completely upset the White House's propaganda Narrative. Or it might even be a case of cutting their losses and allowing a desertion court martial in lieu of a prosecution for treason.
Whichever option it is, or some other of which I'm not conceiving, I can say one thing with utter certainty: I will believe a Bowe Bergdahl court martial of any kind only when I actually see it. And maybe not even then.
Exit question: Did Ali Bowebar al-Bergdahli miss evening prayers? That must be it.
