For a very, very long time now, I have been arguing that Hillary Clinton will not only never be President of the United States, but she'll never be the Democrat nominee, either. The reasons why are very simple and straightforward: Her Rauch limit has long since expired, her best opportunity was 2008 and she couldn't win the nomination then, and the Nutroot base of the Democrat Party hates her flabby guts.
And now there's fresh fuel for Her Nib's political funeral pyre:
[Commun]ist groups cheering “Run Warren Run,” today released 2016 election polls from Iowa and New Hampshire showing Sen. Elizabeth Warren ahead of dominant Democrat Hillary Clinton.
The YouGov poll of likely Democratic voters for MoveOn.org and Democracy for America also found that 79% want Warren and majorities support her anti-Wall Street positions.
Warren has said she doesn’t plan to challenge Clinton, though several others have indicated that they are looking at a bid, including Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Bernie Sanders, D-VT.
The poll of four hundred conducted [from] January 30th to February 5th put Warren ahead of Clinton in Iowa, 31% to 24%. In New Hampshire, her lead is 30% to 27%.
Don't believe for one, single, solitary moment Fauxcahontas's disavowals of any nascent presidential candidacy. She wants to run, she's The One's designated heir apparent (if he decides not to decree himself a third term), the Donk base loves her. She's Hillary Clinton without the fifteen extra years, scandal baggage, Wall Street compromises, and all that loose skin. Plus she's (presumably) got a vagina as well, which would make her potential presidency no less "historic" than Mrs. Clinton's.
There is, in short, no way that Elizabeth Warren will not be the 2016 Democrat presidential nominee. Because the choice for Dems will be nominating Hillary and guaranteeing Scott Walker's victory versus nominating the Massachusetts senior senator and having a bona fide shot at bamboozling the electorate with another shiny new identity politics distraction, just like was accomplished in 2008.
Their solace is that if the above fails, their demigod still has his pen and phone. His presidency-for-life is, after all, just an Executive Order away.
