Even Colder

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Record Cold continues to grip most of the United States. . . Global Warming is being blamed in the media. . . oh, wait, that's right, when it's cold they call it Climate Change.

The Chicago area reached a record-low temperature of -7 degrees in 1936. Temperatures are expected to reach -8 or -9 degrees on Thursday. High temperatures will hover around 2 degrees.

While the Climate Change faithful shiver and blame man-made global warming, those that recognize temperature change as being a natural cycle that humanity can't influence in the way the progressives are saying have looked towards the sun, and solar activity has reduced to a level not seen in more than a century. . . thus, making it COLD.

Meanwhile, we in the Pacific Northwest continue to revel in record high temperatures (60's in February). About which I am never going to complain.

The globe isn't warming, but I'm enjoying the little slice of it that is.
