The first GOP Obama clone (i.e. callow, unqualified, ideologue freshman senator banking on his ethnicity to cloak all of the above) takes the plunge:
“I believe in you. I believe in the power of millions of courageous conservatives rising up to reignite the promise of America.
For which we already have the vastly more qualified and electable Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, in whose way you can only meddlesomely get.
And that is why today, I am announcing that I’m running for president of the United States.”
<sigh>
“It is a time for truth,” he said. “It is a time for liberty. It is a time to reclaim the Constitution of the United States.”
Indeed, indeed, and indeed. You, Senator Cruz, are simply not the man who can accomplish any of these things.
Exit question: Why did he make his silly announcement at Liberty University? Was it an attempt to bask in the glory of, and get "the rub" from, the timeless accomplishments and spirit of the Falwell Administration?
