I sent out an email today in response to the various Supreme Court rulings, and actions by the federal government, that we've been seeing.
"Supreme Court Rulings Regarding Obamacare and Marriage have Reminded us that we are on a path to become a New America. Is the fight worth it? Can we win this? Or are we fighting against the inevitable?
"You may think all is lost, but in reality, the fight has only just begun. Good people resist evil, despite the odds, despite whether or not the tide can be turned. The forces of destruction have made a lot of headway, but the battle has only just begun. We may have to experience a little collapse. We may have to endure some very difficult times that may lead to some frightening years. Collectivism always leads to coercion. Asimov's Foundation suddenly makes sense.
"We are not just here to fight the good fight, but to train up the next generation to continue the fight, and to establish a model of information for the future generation that may have to pull all of this out of the muck. We must learn the wisdom of the Founding Fathers, and apply those principles of limited government, and the philosophies of a righteous revolution, to the struggle we are encountering during our own day and age. It is time to get up off the couch and wield the weapons of liberty. It begins with education!"One of the listeners of my radio program sent the following, appropriate, quote by Winston Churchill:
"If you will not fight for the right when you can win easily and without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of victory. There may be even a worse case, you may have to fight when there is no chance of victory at all because it is better to perish than to live as slaves."Amen, brother.
