Germany Moves To Legalize Incest

I'm actually surprised that the country of my ancestors actually beat Obamerikastan to this particular punch - although it won't be by much:

Incest could be made legal in Germany following a meeting of the national "Ethics" Council.

They have called for the legalisation of incest after looking into the case of a brother and sister who had four children together.

Which is to say, the imposition of government-mandated incest, for which the term "legalization" is a coy euphemism.

Despite the dangers of children of incestual relationships being born with abnormalities, the committee claim this risk is not high enough to warrant its criminalization....

“Criminal law is not the appropriate means to preserve a social taboo,” the German "Ethics" Council said in a statement. “The fundamental right of adult siblings to sexual self-determination is to be weighed more heavily than the abstract idea of protection of the family.”

IT'S NOT "ABSTRACT," you dummesel.  There is a reason why blood relatives are not supposed to copulate and procreate - actually, there are several reasons, which we'll get to in a moment, but let's focus on this first one - because of the heightened likelihood of birth defects and deformities and stillbirths from bad genetic reinforcement.  You can play around with the cliche of "cousins marrying" all you want (in which the average risk of birth defects and monstrosities is about one in twenty-five), but unless the Krauts are going to limit their "incest is a fundamental human right" lunacy to that and take it no further - which nobody can possibly believe - there will also be mothers "marrying" sons, fathers "marrying" daughters, brothers "marrying" sisters, and so on, where the risk of bad genetic reinforcement is TEN TIMES GREATER.  A virtual certainty, in fact.

Whatever happened to every insane gambit the Left floats being justified as being "for the children"?  But then the "sexual revolution" has always superceded that canard, hasn't it?

And there are other hazards.  Another avenue to total and complete societal breakdown - facilitating even greater governmental takeover of those functions - by destroying the traditional family unit by completely eradicating proper, functional roles within it.  Moms and dads are supposed to be moms and dads; kids are supposed to be kids.  The first is the marital relationship, the second the sibling relationship, and the bridge between the two is the parental relationship.  Parents love their kids, teach them, and "raise them up in the way they should go" to be a functioning, well-adjusted, wise, responsible, and independent adult who can contribute to society in his or her own right, part of which is meeting, falling in love with, and marrying a member of the opposite gender (for life) and forming their own family unit.  It's called "species propagation" and a healthy society.  It's worked for thousands of years, and there is absolutely, positively no reason to change and abandon it.

Which is why the Left wants to destroy it.  That, and because God ordained it, and the Left hates God and everything He stands for.

We are really and truly living in the days of Noah:

And you know what He did next.  He won't do it with water again, as the rainbow serves as a seal of His promise not to repeat the flood.  But there are other means of wiping the slate clean....



....and they would be increasingly well-deserved.
