Kerry: UN Should Absolutely Vote On Iran "Deal" First & To Argue Otherwise Is “Presumptuous”

Secretary of State John Kerry deflected bipartisan criticism of the Obama administration’s move to take the Iran nuclear deal to the United Nations before the U.S. Congress has the opportunity to vote on it, saying the U.N. has a right to go first and to suggest otherwise was “presumptuous.”...

Pressed by Jon Karl in an interview airing Sunday on ABC’s This Week to respond to such criticism, Kerry said of the U.N. voting first, “They have a right to do that. Honestly, it’s presumptuous of some people to suspect that France, China, Russia, Germany, Britain ought to do what the Congress tells them to do. They have a right to have a vote.”

That's less a "deflection" and more a hybrid of strawman obfuscation and extended middle fingers.  How the U.N. Security Council or the legislatures of France, Germany, and Britain vote, and the thugocracies of Red China and The New Evil Empire decide is not - or, rather, ought not be - the slightest bit relevant to how the U.S. Congress votes, because, constitutionally speaking, how the U.S. Congress - and, more specifically, the U.S. Senate - votes under Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 - is the only relevant vote as any "deal" pertains to its incorporation into U.S. law.

But then, thanks to Corker-Menendez, the U.S. Constitution and U.S. law are both irrelevant, and even whatever toothless resolution Congress can produce will "ratify" Obama's "deal" with as few as thirty-four Senate votes anyway.  And that speaks to the political/power aspect of why the Regime wants a U.N. Security Council resolution passed first: It will put withering pressure upon Congress to rubber-stamp Obama's "deal" even though he doesn't need their approval.

As usual, the Obamunists are only "transparent" in their taunting victory laps following their tyrannical-imposed disasters.  Now they are openly admitting that U.S. foreign policy is being run out of Turtle Bay - which, if Barack Obama does leave office eventually, he'll do so because the United States of America has - have - been gutted and neutralized, and the UN will be where the REAL power has been relocated.

And he can be President of United Earth....



....whatever part of it is still habitable after the Iranian nuclear holocaust, anyway.
