It is amazing, the things President Barack Obama will say, when overseas. He told Medvedev of Russia, a few years ago, that he'd have more flexibility after the election for his second term. Now, while in Africa, Obama told the African Union that he felt he had been a “pretty good” president and if he were allowed to run for a third term, he’d probably be victorious.
Does this mean he is considering running for a third term, despite the 22nd Amendment's limitation of two terms for a President of the United States? We know that he could care less about what the Constitution says, evidenced by his executive orders and memos (and actions) that act in a legislative manner (a power, that according to Article I, Section 1, solely belongs to Congress), and we know he thinks it is up to him to decide when Congress is in session, evidenced by his four recess appointments a few years ago (the tale-end of Article II, Section 2 allows the President to fill vacancies in positions that would normally need approval of the Senate while they are in recess, but when Obama made the appointments, the Senate was in pro-forma session), and we've seen how, in order to avoid Senate ratification of treaties (a requirement established in the second paragraph of Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution), Obama simply renames treaties as "agreements" (as we saw with the Iran Nuke Deal).
Obama's hubris took some extra steps as, while he made the remarks regarding how he could run for a third term in the White House, he was also criticizing leaders in Africa who refuse to step aside at the conclusion of their terms.
“Now, let me be honest with you,” Obama said. “I do not understand this. I am in my second term. It has been an extraordinary privilege for me to serve as the President of the United States. I cannot imagine a greater honor or a more interesting job. I love my work. But under our Constitution, I cannot run again.”
Oh, there it is, a criticism of the Constitution. It's a "damn obstacle" in Obama's opinion.

Like I tell people, "Obama understands the Constitution perfectly, so we must understand that he doesn't violate its principles due to ignorance. He violates the principles of the United States Constitution because he disagrees with the philosophies and limitations printed upon its pages."
Obama continued, “I actually think I’m a pretty good president. I think if I ran, I could win. But I can’t. So there’s a lot that I’d like to do to keep America moving, but the law is the law.”

If the next Democrat President (if a donkey somehow wins the next election) or if the GOP, dislodges his "progress" that he believes he has accomplished in terms of fundamentally transforming the United States of America, in the 2020 Election it would not surprise me if the left used the courts to kill the 22nd Amendment so that Obama can return as President. . . nor would it surprise me if Michelle Obama ran for President in 2020 to carry on the "Obama legacy" of killing the American System.
Could you imagine if Michelle was President of the United States? When it comes to Alinsky tactics, and leftist madness, Barry is an amateur compared to Moochelle.
That said, for now, the Democrat Party will have to settle for Hillary "It takes a village" Clinton, Bernie "proud socialist" Sanders, Governor Martin "All Lives Matter" O'Malley, or any other piece of single-celled liberal that crawls to the surface between now and Judgement Day.
