GOP Failure Theater: The show whose run is endless and which utterly, absolutely refuses to close:
Two Republican leaders in the House Judiciary Committee have reached out to the Department of Justice as they investigate the Planned Parenthood scandal.
Committee chairman Bob Goodlatte of Virginia-6 and Arizona-8's Trent Franks, the chairman of the Constitution and Civil Justice Subcommittee, sent a letter to Attorney General Loretta Lynch inquiring about the laws regarding partial birth birth abortions and the sale of fetal tissue....
"We write regarding our interest in understanding the history of the enforcement of these laws at the Department of Justice," the letter states. "Please provide the Committee with a copy of the complaint in every case filed by the Department in which a violation of [these laws], and any related federal laws, is alleged." [emphasis added]
Let's line this up again.
Barack Obama on Planned Parenthood: He's for them.
Loretta Lynch is already investigating....the Center For Medical Progress that produced the videos exposing Planned Parenthood's criminal butchery, while letting PP off scot-free.
This is the most partisan, lawless, tyrannical administration in American history, one that blows off what would previously have been considered iron-clad subpoenas, so you can do the math on the odds that the Reichsfuhreress will voluntarily cooperate with Chairmen Goodlatte's and Frank's friendly request.
Premeditated failure? An incapability to dispense with pointless artifice and protocol? I report, you decide.
Either way, Goodlatte and Franks, like the rest of their majority colleagues, are just going through the motions, and achieving, in the end, nothing.
