Obama Knew He Was Arming ISIS

In a recent interview with Al Jazeera, a top U.S. General has indicated that President Obama knew ISIS was growing, that they were more than a "JV Team," but still made a “willful decision” to remain out of the region, allowing the radical terrorist group to continue its expansion without interference.  As the terrorist group grew, President Obama also went so far as to supply arms to the region, with the full understanding that those weapons would end up in the hands of ISIS.

The U.S. General in question is former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency Michael Flynn.  He said in the interview that Obama was well aware that he was assisting ISIS to expand.  The President, however, decided to do it anyway.  Flynn's statements accompanied his discussion with Al Jazeera regarding Obama's decision to arm the rebels in Syria that stood in opposition to Syria’s Bashar al-Assad.  The administration decided to continue despite warnings that those weapons would fall into the hands of radicals.  Remember, also, that the gun running to the Syrian rebels is also a key component in the death of Americans at Benghazi, of which this administration has been attempting to cover up, and blame the violence on an unassociated video, even to this day.

HASAN: You are basically saying that even in government at the time you knew these groups were around, you saw this analysis, and you were arguing against it, but who wasn’t listening?

FLYNN: I think the administration.

HASAN: So the administration turned a blind eye to your analysis?

FLYNN: I don’t know that they turned a blind eye, I think it was a decision. I think it was a willful decision.

HASAN: A willful decision to support an insurgency that had Salafists, Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood?

FLYNN: It was a willful decision to do what they’re doing.
