Obama Preparing To Terminate The Second Amendment

Beating Hillary Clinton to the despotic, Constitution-eviscerating punch?  Hey, would you want to be shown up by that old hag?:

Barack Obama is working on more [illegal, unlawful, unconstitutional] executive actions related to gun control following the [anti-Christian] shooting on an Oregon college campus last week that left nine [evangelical Christians] dead.

"It's a high priority and will continue to be until we start to see more progress on this issue in this town," White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said during the daily briefing on Monday.

That is an illogical statement.  First of all, many of us believe that adhering to the original intent of the Constitution constitutes "progress," and departing from it is a gross and grievous error.  And the separation of powers gives the congressional majorities every right to so adhere and not subordinate themselves to the White House.

Second, if Barack Obama is going to go ahead and start waving around his royal scepter, what difference does it make what Congress does or doesn't do on gun control - which, by the way, it is forbidden from doing anything about by the Second Amendment ("the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed").  You want to "make progress on this issue," Josh?  Do it at the State level, where original authority technically still resides.  Because it is not a federal issue.

Now how about you and your effeminate boss stop wasting time tilting at gun-grabbing windmills and start focusing on how the Umpqua Massacre is a hate crime?

Earnest said Obama was working behind the scenes to find ways to take actions, Breitbart reported.

Oh, he'll find ways - and they won't be "behind the scenes". Although, strangely, he's never managed to follow through on such threats before.

[Earnest] admitted to not having any details on the administration's plans....

i.e. He's not at liberty to disclose them.

....but did criticize the so-called "gun-show loophole" that allows for people to buy guns from private occasional sellers without having to have a background check.

And which is irrelevant to every last one of the active shooter attacks of the past several years.  Indeed, I'm coming to believe that that obsession is a distraction from the more, shall we say, "direct route" Obama really wishes to take.

Anybody know if Operation Jade Helm has actually concluded?
