2016 Came Upon Us Pretty Quick. . .
On my way to day two of the Ontario Crossroads of the West Gun Show yesterday I got to thinking about what we are up against as the forces that wish to destroy the Constitution are at their worst. The Christian Church experienced its greatest growth in history while being heavily persecuted. The Declaration of Independence, and the United States Constitution, were written as a result of the heavy assault on the liberty of the English Colonies Britain had put the Colonies through. Our Liberty was born partly out of the response to tyranny.
What a great opportunity we have in 2016!
The United States is facing the greatest assault on our liberty in our lifetime, and perhaps in the history of this country, so Americans are waking up, and they are ready to fight for our God-given rights, and the liberty we knew growing up.
The drive for liberty does not fade when confronted by tyranny. The drive for liberty deepens, and is invigorated.
Sometimes, it is easy to feel down, because the assault is so tremendous. Here in California it seems like there is no relief in sight, and the GOP seems like it has been infiltrated by the leftist ideology, making them complicit with what is going on. The enemy that is determined to usurp, circumvent, and ultimately erase the United States Constitution has been hitting us non-stop, from all directions. Sometimes, we look around, and all we see is madness. The younger generation cares more about celebrity gossip and video games than they do their country. Members of all generations seem to have their noses dug deep into their mobile devices. The static and distractions of life has us too busy to notice that our liberty is being taken from us, and the speed in which it is being stolen has increased.
Anti-Constitutional forces believe the country has turned the corner. They believe we are now a country dominated by leftist thinking. But, this weekend, at the gun show in Ontario, California, I was reminded that not all of the younger generation has fallen for the propaganda, and I was reminded that there is an incredibly large number of patriotic Americans who are ready to do what it takes to restore the republic. And these people were a true representation of the melting pot of America. All ethnicities, skin colors and backgrounds were represented. But, they all had one thing in common. Despite political correctness and the culture of hyphenation, these folks all called themselves AMERICANS.
I would like to welcome the folks I talked to this weekend at the gun show to our email list, and I hope you can become an active part in what we are trying to do through Constitution Classes, the Constitution Association, Radio Programming, my books and articles, and through public speaking engagements.
