Hey, look at that - we actually caught a pair before they could attack! Will wonders never cease?:
Aws Mohammed Younis Al-Jayab, twenty three, of Sacramento, California, was charged with making a false statement involving international terrorism; and Omar Faraj Saeed Al Hardan, twenty four, of Houston, was charged with attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State.
Authorities said Hardan moved to this country in 2009 and was granted legal permanent residence status two years later. Jayab came to the United States in October 2012. The two men had been communicating about weapons and training, according to prosecutors.
“Jayab allegedly traveled overseas to fight alongside terrorist organizations and lied to U.S. authorities about his activities,” said John Carlin, assistant attorney general in charge of the [Injustice, Revenge & Coverup Commissariat]’s National [Ins]ecurity Division.
That appears to be exceedingly easy for "Muslim refugees" to successfully do.
Prosecutors said Jayab, while living in Arizona and Wisconsin, claimed on social media that he had fought previously in Syria against the [Assad] regime. He then returned to the war-torn country again in 2013 to fight for Ansar al-Islam, a designated foreign terrorist organization since 2004, authorities said. Jayab later claimed he had traveled to Turkey to "visit his grandmother".
So Jayab has been running an expressway between Sacramento and Syria back and forth on which he's traveled multiple-times, making all this social media noise about jihad, and he never made it onto the Obama Regime's offline, broken, Islamophilic counterterrorism radar screen until now. Wow, miracles really DO happen.
By the way, do you know what's going on in the nearby San Francisco Bay Area this weekend? A summit in San Jose between counter-terrorism experts and Silicon Valley tech firms. Just picture that event getting blown up by a truck bomb or something, courtesy of Mr. al-Jayab and Mr. al-Hardan. Wouldn't that have made a wonderfully ironic headline?
But don't worry, my fellow Islamophobes, there are plenty more such "refugees" where they came from.
UPDATE: Islamic State cop-killing:
A Philadelphia police officer was shot point blank and seriously wounded in an ambush-style attack while sitting in his patrol car, city officials said early Friday.
The suspect, who has been arrested, has given a full confession, saying he did it in the name of Islam and pledging loyalty to the Islamic State group, says Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross.
The report doesn't mention if the shooter is a "Muslim refugee," but that's the way to bet.
