While members of the United States Military are tasked with defending the country, they also gave an oath to protect and defend the United States Constitution. However, they are not governed by the Constitution. They fall under the UCMJ (Uniform Code of MIlitary Justice). Congress has the authority, through legislation, to govern the military.
The federal government's relationship with the U.S. Military is only a part of the authorities granted to the U.S. Government. Tonight, we will discuss a number of these powers.
Instructor Douglas V. Gibbs will be in Corona tonight beginning at 6:00 pm to lead a class at CarStar/AllStar Collision, 522 Railroad Street near the Main Street and Grand Avenue intersection in Corona, California.
Free Pocket Constitutions are handed out to all attendees.
