Iran Demanding U.S. Reparations On Top Of Nuclear "Deal"

by JASmius

The thing about showing yourself to be an insatiably skinnable sucker is that you soon gain that indelible reputation to every snake oil salesman within bilking range.

And the ones to whom you're already a mark will keep coming back for more skin:

Unsatisfied with all it got in the nuclear deal with Barack Obama....

i.e. Lifting of all sanctions, $150 billion in unfrozen assets, nuclear weapons, and ICBMs, just as a reminder.

....Iran now wants the U.S. to pay reparations for a series of events dating back to the 1953 coup that empowered the Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, according to the state news agency.

Sure, hell, why not?  Why not shoot the moon?  Until some line of resistance is reached, there's no reason whatsoever for the mullahs to stop pushing us,

The Iranian parliament also wants U.S, reparations for victims of the Iran-Iraq war and for more than seventeen thousand assassinations of Iranians in "terrorist attacks," reported the Tehran Times.

The Iranian parliament passed a bill requiring its government to demand compensation from the United States for "spiritual and material" damages, reported USA Today, and Iran's Supreme National Security Council agreed on Tuesday to file a complaint with the International Court of Justice over the U.S. Supreme Court's decision last month approving the confiscation of Iranian assets.

The Supreme Court ruled 6-2 in April that Congress had not violated the separation of powers when it voted for a bill that make it easier for 1,300 people to get funds on behalf of those killed or injured in the bombing of a U.S. Marine Corps barracks in Beirut in 1983 and other attacks officials blamed on Iran, according to the Washington Post.

Two rhetorical questions: (1) Does anybody believe that the Obama Regime is going to enforced that SCOTUS decision?  And (2) does anybody still retain any doubts that the Obama Regime will comply with every last fresh Iranian demand, obligatorily bypassing Congress to shovel them the funds?

I'm sure it's someplace in one of those countless supersecret "side deals" nobody by they and Tehran have ever seen.  The better question is what ISN'T in them.

Exit question: What are the mullahs going to demand from us next?  Our unconditional surrender?  And why wouldn't O give them that as well?
