ACTIVIST EDUCATORS AND YOUR CHILDREN

"No Justice, No Peace."

Opinion by Allan McNew

Progressive-socialist activists have varying mixes of primary interests such as race, environment, education, social issues, economic theory and so on, with individuals, depending on their background, emphasizing one over the others. However, it all involves societal and cultural change from the root up, and that has to do with proselytizing their strain of secular religion to children.

Take Deray McKesson, an activist involved with education, criminal justice, police oversight, community empowerment and more. He is a credentialed teacher, an activist with Black Lives Matter and We The Protesters groups, contributed his person to the conflagration minded, criminal mob of looting thugs in Ferguson, a Baltimore mayoral candidate and has just been hired to the Baltimore School District as a recruiter of academics to fill educator vacancies in the district – to the tune of $165,000 a year. What sort of educational talent will he be looking for?

In the words of Alicia Garza, Black Lives Matter co-founder, “Today’s Black power is transforming democracy – but we cannot do it alone,” she said. “...We need the best and the brightest thinkers, strategists, coders, surveillance experts, tech geeks and disruptors to utilize all of the tools we have available to us to build the world that we want to see...Every successful social movement in this country's history has used disruption as a strategy to fight for social change...”

We all saw what Black Lives Matter brought to Ferguson: the burning and looting of civilian businesses having nothing to do with their beef of alleged police brutality, thereby destroying commerce and jobs so economically vital to that primarily black community - now that was a real positive step forward.

In Sacramento last week a far flung group called “By Any Means Necessary” (BAMN), an activist group organized and directed by accredited academics, primarily teachers, instigated a gang fight style riot involving knives and clubs. They teach kindergarten through college while organizing the kids for ideological activism.

This sort of thing has been going on since the 60's. The idea behind what became the La Raza Unida party taking over the school district in Zavala County, Texas, masterminded by Jose Angel Gutierrez, was something like this:

A school district is actually a business, often the largest employer in a community. There are huge sums of money flowing through a school district, perpetually provided by the taxpayer. A school district can provide employment for activists, has office space and comes with office equipment and communication means, such as telephone service. This largely eliminates the need for a traditional non-profit to constantly raise funds while using valuable time and resources to do so, the school district (and by extension as further described by Gutierrez in his own copyrighted words, government of all sorts) is the best non profit around to carry on activism.

And, not only are ideological activists and their means and ends reliably funded by the taxpayer, there is control over the curriculum and students are trained and graduated to be activists for the cause. Gutierrez had an ethnic nationalist agenda, so upon taking power he saw to it that all possible white employees were fired, every effort was made to fill every occurring vacancy with those with a brown skin and Spanish last name, and any whites which were (temporarily) hired for vacancies that couldn't otherwise be immediately filled according to the racial requirement had to be fully on board with the program. It appears, even with what eventually became the call for “diversity”, that blacks need not apply for employment in Gutierrez' scheme at that time and place.

Organizing high school kids and subsequently their parents for ideological activism while Gutierrez pulled the strings as much as possible from the background, so it appeared the kids demanded changes rather than the agitator manipulating the kids to his ends, was central to Gutierrez' success.

It has been a part of progressive-socialist ideology since the early 20th century that government and schools be administered by college educated technocrats. Take over education and progressive-socialist agenda becomes fait accompli - which is why progressive-socialists are so opposed to education outside of the public system. Their control of the educational narrative is hindered by charter and private schools as well as diverting employment away from their activists.

So, fast forwarding to today, while conservatives are glued to talk radio rants about rhino politicians and Fox News stories about “Democrat” shenanigans, right under their noses another crop of young adults, regardless of whether they can read, compose a coherent paragraph, perform simple math or even graduate, leave school indoctrinated towards progressive–socialist ideology and ticking the “Democratic” box on the voter ballot while American identity is erased and race based ethnic nationalism is promoted for all except white children, who are guilt shamed with the notion of “white privilege”. And, the activism can be gratuitously violent and wantonly destructive as well as abysmally unreasoning while cynically calling for understanding, tolerance and free speech.

Fait accompli "By any means necessary."
