The San Francisco police officer was shot in the head. While he has been in critical condition the injuries are not life-threatening. However, he is partially paralyzed as a result of the wound. The question is, was this because we live in a society that refuses to respect the police? Or, do we live in a society that has become authoritative with a police force that is too much in our face? Or. . . is it a little of both?
"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters." -- Benjamin Franklin
SFPD police Chief Toney Chaplin stated the officer underwent surgery to remove fragments from his brain.
As usual, the San Francisco mayor and the media blames the guns, not the individual.
Understand, this shooting happened in a city and a State with heavy gun control laws.
