Wow, you guys have been great. The new contract at KMET began last Saturday for Constitution Radio with Douglas V. Gibbs, and though most of the radio program had been funded when I reached out for help from the listeners, of the $1,300 needed, one thousand has been satisfied. We are only $300 away from fully funding both hours through July of 2017.
That said, thankfully, the radio station ownership is working with us. Over the two year relationship we have had with KMET, this is the first time we have not presented all funding for a new contract prior to the end of the last contract. That said, this is the first time we have had to fund two hours, and it followed the loss of two advertisers, the same two advertisers who helped us launch the second hour a few months ago.
So, one last request. Help if you can. All we need is $300 more, and with the massive listenership of Constitution Radio, the thousands following on Political Pistachio, and my Facebook page, and over 11,000 people who follow the Constitution Study Facebook Page, surely we can come up with the final $300...which, by the way, makes the second hour listener paid for, and therefore, commercial-free.
