Taming North Korea with a Firm Hand

Theodore Roosevelt was known for speaking softly, but carrying a big stick.  Ronald Reagan continuously told us how important it was that the best way to achieve peace was through strength.  George Washington was quoted as saying, "There is a rank due to the United States, among nations, which will be withheld, if not absolutely lost, by the reputation of weakness. If we desire to avoid insult, we must be able to repel it; if we desire to secure peace, one of the most powerful instruments of our rising prosperity, it must be known that we are at all times ready for war."

President Donald J. Trump agrees, and has used a firm hand in dealing with the communist dictatorship in North Korea.

Trump's strategy has paid off.  North Korea has indicated they plan to suspend their missile testing and close a nuclear test site, and now Kim Jong Un has agreed to meet with South Korea, and eventually President Trump.

The softening of North Korea's stance is 100% the result of Donald Trump's strong stance, and even CNN is willing to admit that.

The meeting between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in was never believed to be possible.  While the liberal left has been claiming that Trump will start a war, and that only their policies of appeasement can save us, the reality is, Un is talking to South Korea, and is willing to talk to Trump specifically because Trump has not appeased him, but instead has used strength and a firm hand.  Fear that the President of the United States may use the might of the U.S. Military to put you in check can do that.
