Democrat Party's California War on Liberty

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The California legislative session has come to a close for the season.  The Democrat Party dominated bicameral legislature has gone home for the time being.

Here's some of the California bills they left behind hoping Governor Brown would sign them (notice the authoritarian tone of Democrat Party politics, and the anti-morality driven nature of some of them, as you peruse these bills). . .

SB 328 would prevent school districts from scheduling middle and high school classes to start any earlier than 8:30 a.m. Rural school districts get an exemption.  For cities who have schools opening earlier because the parents largely commute, this will cause a real scheduling problem for those working parents.

SB 905 would allow nine California cities to keep bars open until 4 a.m. State law currently bans alcohol from being served past 2 a.m. As early as 2021, the cities of San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, Los Angeles, West Hollywood, Palm Springs, Cathedral City and Coachella will be allowed to extend last call for two more hours.  Each of these cities are known for their concentration of gay bars.

SB 826 mandates that publicly held companies with principal executive offices in California would be required to have at least one female director by Dec. 31, 2019, or else face a fine. By the end of 2021, corporations with five directors would have to have at least two female directors, and corporations with six directors or more would have to have at least three female directors.  You've come a long way, honey.  What this bill is saying is that you won't be moving up because you are good at what you do, but because you have lady parts between your legs.

SB 320 would require public universities to provide the abortion pill at on-campus health centers.  Apparently, to the Democrats, the slaughter of 1.2 million babies per year is not enough to fulfill their aim of sacrificing innocent blood to whoever horned devil it is that they worship.

SB1192 mandates that soda can no longer be a default beverage in kids meals. Choices would be limited to water, plain milk, or a non-dairy substitute like almond milk. If soda is desired you may request it.  Authoritarian dictates to businesses on how they are allowed to run their business, and parents regarding how they are allowed to raise their kids.  At what point does the government just take over the ownership of the restaurants, and snatch the kids from their parents?

SB186 allows for the creation of meth dens in San Francisco -clinics where addicts can legally under state law, but against federal law, shoot up drugs under medical supervision.  These democrats who want meth dens in San Francisco are the same people who are working on banning the smoking of cigars and cigarettes in all State parks and beaches.
