The fool refuses to listen because he assumes he knows all he needs to know, and then fails to understand why nobody any longer wishes to talk to him.
The fool uses his anger and violent attitude to control the conversation, speaking over his opposition, because he knows that if they actually have a chance to speak they will reveal his foolishness. He then manipulates others to create opposition to those he disagrees with, revealing the true deception that lives in his heart.
The fool is narcissistic, self-absorbed, conceited, all-knowing, and believes the world only revolves around him. No other opinion or life-journey matters to him.
The fool only has faith in his own morality and opinions. Even God is foreign to him. And nothing is his fault, he is a victim, and to blame is everyone and everything other than himself. He is blameless.
The fool dies alone, or surrounded by other fools who care not that he lived in the first place.
