The War for America

Are we losing America? Are we fighters for freedom as we claim? The United States sends troops around the world to fight for freedom, to keep the torch of liberty burning bright in lands where political ideologies like communism and Islamism, under the iron fists of various madmen, work to take away the people's freedoms. Yet, right here in America, a regime has set itself up in Washington DC, and the question is, are we willing to fight here? Is our exceptionalism worth fighting for? Are we willing to make this nation, as founded, the center of our efforts?
During this election season we have an opportunity to slowly begin turning around this mess we find ourselves in. The democrats, led by Barack Obama, have put unprecedented limits on our Constitutional rights, from working to take away our choice in medical care, to working through environmentalism to take away our choices regarding energy and use of private property, and through Obamacare again to erase freedom of religion by mandating that religious institutions offer various forms of contraception and abortion, whether they like it, or not.
The federal government has never before made such a major push because the people behind big government philosophy knew it is unconstitutional, and they could never get it past the people too quickly. Now, they think they can squeeze this stuff by us, that there is enough people using government entitlements, and desiring the health care entitlement, that they can make the final push for socialism and stay in power depending upon the overwhelming number of votes they have bought with these programs.
Statism is growing, and has been, worldwide, but for a ruling elite to rise up in America and take away the people's voice bit by bit, it is disconcerting. To the average American, it may seem like I am over doing it, here. But when one understands the text of the United States Constitution, it becomes clear. The Constitution was written to create a central system, but to limit it to only protecting, preserving and promoting the union, and nothing more.
Before the American Constitution, written constitutions were not the norm. People relied on common law, which could be manipulated by the rulers through adjusting popular opinion. Also, since common law was known by all of the people, they were indifferent to the necessity of writing them down. They were simply a matter of custom, changing if necessary, when the winds of government mandated so.
In Britain, after the Norman Conquest, the rights of the people disappeared in a flood of blood, and without the people's rights being written down, gaining them back was laborious. The people's rights were regained, eventually, but it took centuries. Some of them were gradually written down, and then in 1215, the people forced King John to sign the Magna Carta, quite literally by the point of the sword.
During the time period that followed, the "Model Parliament" was formed, enabling the people to have representation in the government. The Petition of Rights followed in 1628, and the English Bill of Rights was signed in 1689.
Without a written constitution, however, the British had to depend on these fragmentary statutes to manage their political affairs. The Founding Fathers, studying history, determined that the structure of government must be codified in a more permanent written form.
The Americans wrote down their constitutions from the very beginning, starting in 1620 with the Mayflower Compact. The Fundamental Orders of Connecticut followed in 1639, making no reference to Britain as the source of authority. The compact was about "We, the people." They understood that legislatures are better regulated when their actions are regulated by many, rather than a single person, and when those regulations are written down.
During the Constitutional Convention in 1787, the debates were brutal, and necessary. The founders desired that there be no ruling elite, but that the government of the United States be one created through the wisdom and experiences of the many delegates.
It is difficult to function in such a manner. Governments led by oligarchies, or a single authoritarian head, are efficient. The concept of conventions, and Congresses, as the Founding Fathers decided would be how America functioned, is a difficult way to operate a government. It is difficult to get anything done, because of the nature of debate. It is difficult to pass laws, and to change our system, by design. Only authoritarians like Barack Obama would see debate in Congress as a sign that Congress is broken.
Because the United States Constitution was written by many through the laborious technique of debate, our system is stronger than any individual could have written it to be. The Constitution has stood the test of time, proving that it is stronger than relying on tradition, customs, and scattered statutes. It is only now that the rising flood of authoritarian big government in our system has made such a lethal challenge to the Constitution, and the authority of the States and We the People.
To the average European, this struggle in America may seem to be confusing. They have never tasted liberty like us, yet our leaders are striving to make us more like them. We are nothing like Europe on purpose. The founders saw the shortcomings of European systems of governance, and knew that the experiment in America had to be something exceptional, belonging to the people, not the powerful few.
Globalization is an age old concept, as well, and the international leftists are waging this war in America, along with the democrats, for the purpose of governing the world through international rules and institutions. As long as America remains strong, free, and Godly, the people of the world will look to America as the shining beacon on the hill, and globalization will never materialize. The War for America, then, is larger than many think. The War for America is a war for the world.
Unification at an international level is the dream of dictators, a communist conception of governance. They offer globalism as an object of our desire, to deceive us, to make us want what will destroy the sovereignty of America, and the system that has brought liberty to millions.
A part of what has made America exceptional has been our Godly nature. We have placed "In God We Trust" on our currency, we are "One nation under God" in our pledge, and early on Alexis de Tocqueville observed that in America the politicians prayed and the pastors preached politics. Therefore, in order to move us into a direction of liberalism, authoritarianism, and ultimately globalism, God must be absent from our society. The way to destroy and demoralize America is to take away God - which brings us back to Obamacare's push to dictate to religious institutions that they must offer contraceptives, either directly, or through their insurance programs.
The liberal left calls it social justice, and as a Christian, I believe we should feed the poor, clothe the homeless, and care for the elderly. . . but not through government. When government takes on the role of "taking care" of everyone, rather than the populace being self-reliant, the fist of authoritarianism sticks its nose through the tent flap.
Religious freedom is the bedrock of Americanism, but current government agendas suggest otherwise. The liberal democrats have demonstrated hostility against the free exercise of religion in the public square, revealing that it is their desire to cage religion inside the four walls of the church - unless of course it furthers the leftist agenda, such as in the case of Reverend Wright.
Separation of Church and State is a concept not in the U.S. Constitution, and the Establishment Clause, and the Free Exercise Clause, in the First Amendment were specifically written to protect the people from government hijacking religion. The Church of England, the inspiration for the Establishment Clause, was the State Church because the ruling authority deemed it so, so that they could use the church as an arm to control the people. Islam does the same. The political agendas are carried out as religious dictates, and the people, because of the religious mask of the political ideology of Islam, carry out the madness without question.
Those who oppose the leftist agenda support the strength of the church, community, and the common good, but believe that strong communities and the common good are not achieved by government dictate, but by the members of society voluntarily participating in civic events, and by individuals succeeding and influencing the community through their success, i.e. creating jobs, giving to charities, participating in community events. It is natural for people to desire a strong community.
Our humanity, however, must be the choice of the individual, and the decision to unify as a community must be the choice of the member units. If we lose that, and our choices become mandates dictated down from the bureaucracies in Washington, we lose our liberty, our humanity, and America as founded.
Republican Paul Ryan recently said, "If we keep growing government in debt, we will crowd out the civil society - those charities, those churches, those institutions in our local communities that do the most to actually have a human touch to help people in need. That's what we want to empower. That's what we want to improve on."
It is not just for us that we fight this war for America, however, but for our posterity, too.
Ronald Reagan once so wisely said, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free."
Or in John Wayne's words to the little boy, Ham-Chunk, at the end of the 1968 movie, The Green Berets, "You are what this is all about."

The Townsend Acts in 1768 sent a message to the colonists in America that they were not only just a revenue source to the king, but that the members of the British Colonies were considered to be less than British Subjects. The Acts imposed tariffs upon The Colonies for the import of goods from Britain, the same kind of tariffs Britain imposed on foreign nations. The Colonists did not understand why they were being treated as outsiders, but the move helped to increase the rising feeling among the Colonists that perhaps it was time to cut the cord, and truly be independent as a separate, sovereign nation.
The grumbling in Massachusetts Bay resulted in The Crown permanently stationing troops in and around Boston. By 1770, the Bostonians were gathering in protest, as revolutionaries met in the pubs, churches, and meeting halls to discuss rebellion. On March 5, 1770, a group of boys gathered on King Street, and it didn't take long for British Troops to show up. The crowd grew, and the group became rowdy at the sight of the troops. Snowballs were thrown, and then rocks and other items. Shots rang out, and three colonists lay dead in the snow. Two others died later from their injuries. Despite the fact that the British Troops were mere kids, probably frightened, and perhaps may have heard someone shout "fire", the worst had happened. Massacre. The press dubbed it the "Incident on King Street," and later renamed the event the "Boston Massacre." The massacre became yet another fiery fuse lit, leading America towards revolution.

Elizabeth Warren's Cherokee Ancestry
Elizabeth Warren Stonewalls Reporter on Why She Claimed Minority Status
Appearing in Brookline, Massachusetts for a Senate campaign event, Elizabeth Warren stonewalled questions about her supposed Cherokee ancestry. She has maintained that she does have Cherokee ancestry despite all evidence to the contrary.
This was her first public appearance in a week. She was accosted by a reporter, and consistently attempted to redirect the questioner to another topic.

Added Note: Many Americans can claim to have some Indian ancestry in their family history. Such is inevitable. My great grandparents were Blackfoot Indian, and I have a helluva lot more Indian blood in my veins than Elizabeth Warren could ever dream of.

Obama DOJ Forces University to Allow Male Student to use Female Bathrooms

Are you ready for this? A pervert, with children, and two ex-wives, that dresses as a woman, and calls himself "Jennifer Braly", who says he is in the process of saving money to have his body mutilated (sex-reassignment surgery), filed a complaint with the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice because he was not allowed to use the women's restrooms.
The report comes from Campus Reform.
“Someone saw me using the women’s public restrooms and complained,” said Braly. “[O]ne problem to this is there are not unisex bathrooms in every building. Especially the two main buildings where most of my classes are, so I have to go to a completely different building to use the restroom.” The university had offered to turn more gender-specific bathrooms into gender-neutral bathrooms. Braly filed the complaint anyway.

Heritage Foundation: Obama's Secrets
Deep in the cover of night in the town of Abbottabad, Pakistan, a team of Navy SEALs descended from helicopters, breached the compound of terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden and brought him to justice. The story is the stuff that blockbuster movies are made of, but many of the details are largely a closely guarded secret. Pro-Abortion Losing Ground in Polls
'Pro-Choice' Americans At Record Low, Poll Finds
The percent of Americans who identify as "pro-choice" regarding legalized abortion is at a new low of 41 percent, according to a newly released Gallup poll. The figure is one percent lower than the previous all-time low registered by Gallup, which was in May 2009.
The decline appears to fall along party lines, with the percent of Republicans identifying as "pro-choice" decreasing from 28 percent last May, to 22 percent in this most recent poll. Democrats remain somewhat consistent, around 60 percent identify as pro-choice.

2012: The Election Over Capitalism

The Soviet Union leaders called us capitalist pigs. I never thought the Democrats would start calling us that too.
This election has come down to whether you support capitalism, or socialism. For the first time in my lifetime, capitalism is the enemy as far as the President of the United States is concerned, and to win his reelection, he is launching attack after attack against capitalism, and the capitalists that dare to make a profit.
This nation's prosperity is the direct result of our free enterprise and capitalist system. The concept of capitalism was present from the very beginning, though it was not called such. Capitalism built America, from the individual successes of the early colonists, to the individual successes of today's business owners.

The Democrats have decided now that defending capitalism makes you an extremist, and they are intent to ridicule anyone that defends capitalism into silence, including Mitt Romney.
The primary focus of the Democrats has been against Romney's involvement with Bain Capital, a private equity company that has been directly involved with saving companies by removing the parts of the enterprise that was causing failure, and then breathing new life into the company. Romney's involvement in Bain Capital is a large part of the reason he is a successful businessman, and wealthy to boot. Through venture capitalism Romney saved dying businesses, which led to the growth of the businesses, an increase in jobs, and a stronger business sector.
Obama, through bailouts, saved failing businesses, kept the failing parts of them intact, and now they are all going bankrupt (which means he didn't save them at all).
Newark (N.J.) Mayor Cory Booker during an appearance on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday, a democrat, mind you, even sees the writing on the wall, saying that his fellow democrats have veered badly off message, and then he defended Bain Capital. His description of Obama's negative tone towards capitalism? "Nauseating".
The AP later called Booker's words a "gaffe."
Why? Because democrats aren't supposed to dare to veer off Obama's course?
We are a capitalistic country, with a capitalist running for President, and the democrats are attacking Romney for daring to be a capitalist. If the founders wanted us to be like Europe, they would have made us that way. We are exceptional for a reason, and capitalism is a large part of it.

Obama's Difficulty in Democrat Primary
Arkansas and Kentucky Don't Have Barack's Back
Barack Obama is having a rough night. In Arkansas, the latest results, with about a quarter of precincts reporting, shows Obama beating Tennessee lawyer John Wolfe by a margin of 59 percent to 41 percent. Obama is an incumbent president. Wolfe is a no-name. Mitt Romney is winning a higher percent of the vote in a semi-contested primary – 70%, compared to 13% for both Ron Paul and Rick Santorum – than Obama is.
Meanwhile, in Kentucky, Obama is actually losing full counties to “Uncommitted.” Actually, Obama lost more than 40 counties across the state to Uncommitted. Which isn’t the name of a new Sarah Jessica Parker movie. It literally means that people are actively voting for nobody. Obama is clocking at just under 58 percent of the vote; Uncommitted, in a surprisingly strong showing, is at just over 42 percent percent.

Obama's Second Term

For many, the 2012 Election is the most pivotal election in recent memory. An individual determined to bring down the American System as founded has made his residency in the White House, and a second term as President may very well enable Barack Obama to complete his destruction of the system that has made this nation among the greatest in history.
Most Americans are not fully aware that what is happening is not a case of Obama being in over his head. His actions, and the Democrat Party's as an accomplice, are on purpose. The liberal left has maneuvered us during Obama's first term to make Congress irrelevant, and to ensure the presidency has the majority of power through regulatory agencies, czars, and Executive Orders. If reelected, Obama will move into the next phase, consolidating all power into the executive branch, and destroying the final remnants of the Constitutional Republic, and capitalism.
With the media in full worship mode, distracting the public, and deceiving the masses with class warfare, and attacks against all opponents, has proven successful. Multi-thousand page laws too complex to read, full of vague provisions, were also a part of the plan, enabling the executive and his minions to enforce thousands of pages of regulations, only for Congress to realize later what they allowed to be put into place. Obamacare, Dodd-Frank Financial Reform Act, and various environmental bills, use language that enables members of the Executive Branch to make decisions based on their "discretion", enabling a single person an incredible amount of power without any oversight by Congress, and without any public interference.
What is worse, Congress has not challenged any of these moves by the Obama administration, essentially accepting their new role as an insignificant branch. If they continue to refuse to act, the leftist's usurpation of power will be nearly impossible to reverse. Eventually, Congress will be nothing more than a whisper in Washington, the States will be considered a nuisance, and the executive will wield all power with the assistance of the judiciary.
From the point of view of the Constitution, everything is completely upside down and backwards.

Enemy Within

Now the Islamists are calling for an electronic jihad.
Liberal Democrats have decided they are the sworn enemy of anything Republican, or anything they consider to be a part of the Right Wing ideology. In 2006, when the Democrat Party gained control of Congress, celebrations erupted. The Liberal Left systematically undermined the war effort, and maintained a "hate Bush" campaign, while simultaneously assisting those who have pledged to destroy the United States both directly, and indirectly.
The Liberal Left's deeds of destruction are supported by groups like Islamic terrorists because they share the same goal. They know that the Democrat Party's crippling efforts against this country will allow the Islamists to infiltrate our society more easily, steering us into a position of complacency, to a point where we may even begin to trust the enemy.
The terrorists know what the conservatives know: The Left desires the United States to retreat from all war efforts, and for the United States to be fundamentally changed away from its founding principles. The Islamists are using the Democrats to achieve their objective.
Leftists refuse to accept the true nature of Islamism, which is more like Nazism or Communism, than a religion of peace. The enemy will not be content to beat us down on our own soil, and take over a certain amount of turf. The Islamists will come after us with vengeance as they have pledged time and time again. They will not be satisfied with a bombing here and there. They will not be satisfied with military deaths. They want to rain death and mayhem on America. They want you to die because you are not Muslim. They will not stop until we are converted, or dead.
As the liberal left spreads its politically correct doctrine to the detriment of this nation, we are bending over backwards to accommodate our enemy's counterparts here in the United States. When meeting Islam's demands is refused, the Muslim community promises there will be backlash, so we cower, and do what they want anyway. Muslims claim these issues to be civil rights, as they work to eliminate the Constitution and replace it with Sharia Law.
As these demands are met, more will be requested, until a militant movement of Islam is able to demand more by the threat of the sword.
We keep believing that the battlefront is in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. The battlefront is here, in our country - and the Liberal Left has been doing everything they can to accommodate the enemy.

Tax Refunds to Illegal Aliens
IRS Gives Billions in Tax Refunds to Illegals
WTHR, the NBC affiliate in Indianapolis, recently reported about how millions of illegal aliens are getting billions of dollars in U.S. tax refunds without having paid a dime in income taxes. The story instantly went viral because it's true. You won't believe what illegals are getting away with, and our government is enabling them.
Here's how it works.
Illegal immigrants cannot qualify for legitimate Social Security numbers, which would entitle them to work legally in the U.S. and file income tax returns, but the Internal Revenue Service allows them to apply for nine-digit individual taxpayer identification numbers, or ITINs, which also are used to file federal income tax returns.
In addition, a provision in the tax code permits illegals to claim "additional child tax credits," which grant families $1,000 per "dependent" child. Roughly three-quarters of tax returns filed by illegals include these ACTCs. With the ITIN, illegals are able to get tax credits and refunds for nephews, nieces and other family members who never have touched U.S. soil.

Saturday Car Accident

After the radio program last Saturday, on the way home, I was involved in an automobile accident.
While I was driving to the KCAA Studios in San Bernardino along Interstate 215, as I passed March Air Force Base, I encountered heavy traffic. The slow-down was caused by an air show going on at that time. On the way home after my radio show, the same air show was still going on, and adjacent to the base the traffic was at a stand still.
I slowed down and came to a stop. The traffic behind me was light, but after I stopped, in my rear view mirror a black object grew in size more rapidly than I expected. The screeching brakes were not enough to stop the luxury SUV, and the car slammed into the back of my little Corolla.
From the number two lane we pulled over a few lanes to get to the shoulder. I got out, and approaching me was a woman a few years younger than me, dressed nicely, and with a look on her face that told me she was quite shook up.
"Were you watching the planes?" I asked.
"No," she replied, "my navigator."
I looked at the back bumper of my seventeen year old car with a faded paint job and nearly two hundred and fifty thousand miles on it, and located the strike point. Just to the left of my license plate was an imprint of the two screws that held her license plate in place, and a faint rectangular mark matching her license plate frame. Her car had a slightly wrinkled license plate, and a scratch on the bumper.
"I've never been in an accident before," she said.
"And you still haven't been," I replied. "The damage is negligible, and neither one of us is hurt, so don't worry about it."
We talked a moment about the accident, how her heart was beating a million miles a minute, and how amazing it was that neither of our airbags deployed.
She still felt bad, so I pulled out one of the business cards from my radio program. As I handed it to her she said, "I hit you, so shouldn't I be giving you my information?"
"If you want to pay me back, this is for my radio show. You can listen on Saturdays at 2:00 pm."
We laughed, shook hands, and went our merry ways.
The story, though interesting, brings to mind a number of thoughts. How would other people have reacted? I wonder how many people would have jumped out of their car angry, yelling, or launching profanity. I've seen people fist fight along the side of the road over less.
Not that I am propping myself up, or anything. I just wonder how many people take a more reasonable position, and how many would have gone off the deep end.
Just a thought.

Obama's Speech Left Them feeling "stereotyped, simplified, and used"
A student at Barnard College, Ayelet Pearl, has written a stirring protest to President Barack Obama's commencement speech yesterday. Noting that the president's words were "beautiful," Pearl nonetheless objected to the use of the historic women's college as a political prop, and said that the event left her feeling "stereotyped, simplified, and used."
Pearl, a junior, pointed out in her article in theColumbia Political Review that while many Barnard students shared President Obama's enthusiasm for "change," they did not necessarily agree with his policies:
