Burma Death Toll Reaches New Highs as Aid Trickles In

The devestation in Burma (Myanmar according to the ruling Junta) has been added to by the ruling government's unwillingness to allow outside aid into the country. Aid sent by governments is being absorbed by the ruling junta, and the funds and supplies are not reaching the people.

Private organizations, however, are doing what they can to make sure the citizens of Burma receive the aid they so desperately need. In tonight's interview on Political Pistachio Radio, the President of Christian Freedom International explains how his organization is ensuring that aid packages are getting into the country, and reaching the people who so desperately needs it.
