What Would the Founding Fathers Think? by David Bowman is a history book for kids full of eye-popping illustrations that makes learning history fun. The author's caricatures accompany writing that is based on the principles that America was founded upon from the perspective of our Founding Fathers. The text is presented in an easy to understand manner, while enlivening the story of America, transporting the reader back in time via a Skype session with George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and James Madison.
The author teaches, while making the journey fun, about the importance of “the principles and ideas that were the foundations of this nation”, and emphasizing that the children reading this book are inheriting a great nation - that is in serious trouble.
The sections of the book are based on historical records of founding beliefs including “God & Religion”, “Values & Virtues”, “People Govern Themselves”, “Limited Government Protects People’s Rights” and how a lack of can affect the intentions of what American was intended to be.
Mr. Bowman will join the program during the first half-hour of today's Constitution Radio program.
