Political Pistachio Approaches a Million Hits

By Douglas V. Gibbs

In October of 2013, Political Pistachio received over 40,000 hits.  Over the last couple days the site has been receiving over 3,000 hits, daily.  Now, she is less than 2,000 hits away from a million hits.

Born on May 6 of 2006, Political Pistachio was designed to be my political site after I found myself writing political posts on my writer's site, which had been created in March of the same year.  The beginning was slow, with only a few posts a month.  Then, my political wind kicked in, and my constitutional voice surfaced.

The original purpose of the blog was to create a following to help me get my books published.  I was writing science fiction, at the time, and after my agent in 2005 advised me that the publishers liked my work, but would not take a chance on an unknown, my drive to make my name known on the Internet was born.

In February of 2007, I added my BlogTalkRadio show to my political voice, and then August 6, 2011 I made the jump to AM Radio at KCAA 1050.

The books are ready, and waiting.  The radio show is growing.  The blog is approaching 1 million hits.

I think we are just about there. . .
