Obama, and NSA Surveillance

I think the New York Times Headline, and first paragraph says it all. . .

White House Tries to Prevent Judge From Ruling on Surveillance Efforts

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration moved late Friday to prevent a federal judge in California from ruling on the constitutionality of warrantless surveillance programs authorized during the Bush administration, telling a court that recent disclosures about National Security Agency spying were not enough to undermine its claim that litigating the case would jeopardize state secrets.

I want you to note that the author ensured that the phrase, "authorized during the Bush administration," was added. . . because as far as the Democrats are concerned, Obama is innocent of all wrong doing, and everything remains to be Bush's fault. . . .  but if that was the case, then why would Obama be working to block any judicial interference with his NSA surveillance efforts?
