One thing I have always said, if I can say one thing about Vice President Joe Biden, he's entertaining. If he wasn't next in line to be President of the United States in case something happened to the historic president, it would all be funny, too.
We are used to Biden sticking his foot in his mouth. He's known for his "gaffes," and comedians should be jumping all over the free material that Joe Biden constantly offers.
Among my favorites is the time Biden told a disabled State Senator confined to a wheel chair to stand up for everyone. The comedy isn't what was said, but the moment Biden realized what he'd done.
"Stand up Chuck! Let 'em see ya. Oh. God love ya. What am I talkin' about?"
Early on Biden showed us who he is. All the way back to the original campaign season before Barack Obama was originally elected President, Biden called the aspiring presidential candidate the "first clean African-American candidate." If Joe had been a Republican, he would have been skewered, but because he's a liberal left democrat, and now, especially because he is Vice President with a donkey guiding his ideological walk, Biden gets a pass.
Recently, Biden verbalized another idiotic gaffe, “Neil Smith, an old butt buddy,” Biden said, “Are you here, Neil? Neil, I miss you man. I miss you.” I suppose when he was a young man that would mean something totally different, but in this world of homosexuals working to normalize their behavior through the dictatorial force of government, Biden's comment translated into something that the "foot in mouth" Veep did not intend.
Biden also referred to the next 2016 Democrat candidate, whoever it is that will win the nod, as the "third term of Barack Obama." "Stick with what works," he said. The thing is, not only are candidates wanting to distance themselves from the failed, anti-American President, but I am wondering if Biden, in the deep depths of his shallow mind, is referring to the Obama administration's secret wishes for canning the term limit on a President to two terms imposed by the 22nd Amendment.
Joe Biden's racism, which we saw a touch of with his 2007 "clean African-American" remark, re-emerged recently in his Somali cab driver remark. The ever entertaining Vice President said that he has formed a relationship with the Somali community in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware, because "there's an awful lot driving cabs" at the train station.
Speaking with state and local law enforcement members at a White House summit on countering violent extremism, Biden noted that law enforcement in Minneapolis has been building a relationship with the city's Somali community.
Then, he mentioned that Wilmington had a "very identifiable" Somali population.
"I might add, if you ever come to the train station with me, you'll notice that I have great relations with them because there's an awful lot driving cabs and are friends of mine," Biden said.
"For real," he said. "I'm not being solicitous. I'm being serious."
CNN noted regarding Biden's comment that the Wilmington cab operators they talked to did not know of any Somali cab drivers in the city.
Was that a Brian Williams moment for Biden?
Good thing nothing about quickie marts came up.
But, the latest is the creepiest of them all. Biden, while opening his mouth and inserting his foot seems to be the norm for the man, his actions sometimes garner the same result.
As Ash Carter delivered his acceptance speech as the new Secretary of Defense at the White House, good ol' Joe Biden took a hands on approach with Ash's wife, Stephanie. With his hands on her shoulders, he appears to have his eyes closed as he is either sniffing her hair, or whispering sweet nothings into her ear. After he was done whispering in her ear, his hands remained on her shoulders.
Ah, Joe, you are one creepy son of a gun, though I do have to admit she doesn't look in the picture like she is totally repulsed by his lingering touch.
