Well, the shooter is black, and the attack sure looked like a planned cop ambush. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, can it really be a targ?:
A Minneapolis Police officer is in fair condition after he was shot early Saturday morning. Police says the shooting happened just before 5 a.m. after two officers had finished clearing the scene of a burglary call on the 1100 block of 24th Avenue North.
The officer, identified by WCCO’s sources as Jordan Davis, was shot in the shoulder while standing outside of his squad car. His partner immediately drove him to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
Assistant Chief Matt Clark says police arrested 43-year-old Andrew Neal Saturday afternoon in connection with the shooting. WCCO’s sources say Neal has a long criminal history.
Police Chief JaneĆ© Harteau said Saturday morning that she believed the officers were targeted. “This is a reminder to all that every one of our officers face such danger simply because they choose to wear a uniform,” Harteau said. “They deserve our support and gratitude. We ask for continued prayers for this officer, his family and every officer who is out protecting and serving their communities.”
Not a particularly effective ambush if only one policeman was even nicked. Maybe if Mr. Neal had traveled to the Islamic State to undergoing firearms training, his aim would have been vastly improved.
Maybe next time, bro, maybe next time.
Exit rhetorical question: Think any Obamedia outlet will connect the Ferguson dots? Me either.
