Yes, it's idiotic. Yes, it's delusional. Yes, it's economically and nationally suicidal. But never doubt for one single solitary moment that they believe it with every fiber of their despicable beings. Because nobody can convince me that they would continue to make these insane claims against all common sense and when it has become a political liability for them to do so if they weren't the hardcore IslamoMarxists they spare no effort to depict themselves as.
Fighting make-believe threats that increase their own dictatorial power and wealth is "righteous". Fighting real threats is (ugh) Republican. In their minds, that's no choice at all.
