Remember a little over a month ago when Iran's "Supreme Leader" moved the "negotiation" goal posts yet again by reneging on his country's agreement in the "preliminary framework" back in April to allow even partial "international" inspections of even some of their nuclear facilities?
Today Lurch ("reportedly") said, "Okey-dokey":
The P5+1 countries led by the United States under Barack Obama have caved in to Iranian demands and will not insist on inspections of nuclear installations as part of a deal on Iran;s nuclear weapons program, Channel 1 reported Sunday.
The channel’s Arab affairs correspondent reported that the June 30th – Tuesday night – deadline for the talks has been set back to an unspecified date but that the negotiations are good-natured and the feeling is that the deal is nearly done.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif was expected to fly to Tehran Sunday night for consultations on a final bargaining position.
If by "deal" they mean "the West's unconditional surrender," then they're essentially correct. This slow-motion sellout has been dragging along for so long that we can actually start to lose sight of the rank absurdity of it all, We are presuming to impose restrictions on a nuclear weapons program that the mullahs want for the express purpose of wiping Israel off the map and bringing "death to America," what we're getting is a "deal" that doesn't come remotely close to that objective, and now, right on schedule, we have agreed to forego any and all means of even going through with the charade of ensuring compliance with what little, if any, we got in return. Put another way, Tehran doesn't even have to go to the trouble of cheating, We have extended the "honor system" to an enemy that is utterly bereft of honor and everything else besides a bloodthirsty determination to wipe us out.
Kind of puts a whole new spin on the term "deadline," doesn't it?
And don't forget that when this "deal" is done, all remaining sanctions will lift immediately (also per Iranian reneging on the April "preliminary framework"), enabling billions to flow into an acceleration of Iranian nuclear weapons and ICBM production.
We conclude this dismal litany with another heapin' helpin' of JASmius Echo Syndrome, this time from Powerline:

And they have the ICBMs to deliver them to their intended targets - Haifa, Tel Aviv, the Negev, and three hundred miles above Kansas,

Funny how last week (illegal ObamaCare subsidies illegally upheld, sodomarriage illegaly imposed) and this one are already being called "the most triumphant" of the Obamidency, huh?
