Obama Sends A Tank & A Cannon To Bulgaria

Yessir, nothing but top of the line equipment is sent to our former allies, whether in NATO or anywhere else.  Or at least what is NOW "top of the line" after Barack Obama has gotten through disemboweling the Obamagon.

I kid.  But not by much:

In what could be seen as a Cold War-like move, the United States military has shipped more than [!] a dozen pieces of heavy equipment to bolster a Marine Corps unit based in Bulgaria to further [!] defend against Russian aggression.

According to the Military Times, four Abrams main battle tanks, three howitzer artillery cannons, and six light armored reconnaissance vehicles were sent to the Combined Arms Company over the weekend. The company is a new Marine unit stationed in Bulgaria consisting of more than 160 soldiers. [emphases added]

Look, I know that Vladimir Putin's forces aren't the Red Army in its "mightiest military machine in the history of mankind" heyday.  But they're more than capable of rolling over the top of half a company, or five platoons, without breaking a sweat, stopping for a hearty belly laugh at our pathetic expense, or even realizing we were in the way.  We're supposedly on a Cold War-esque "collision course" with the Russians over Ukraine, and the best we can do, the most we can deploy (to front-line Bulgaria, anyway), is a few dozen soldiers, a quartet of broken down, obsolete tanks (The M1-A1 Abrams was introduced thirty years ago), a trio of equally antique howitzers, and a few glorifed jeeps?  Gee, maybe if some of the uniformed personnel are taught to flap their arms fast enough, they can serve as Task Force Parvo's air support.

This is not a knock on our men and women in uniform.  Just the opposite, as a matter of fact.  For them I have the utmost respect.  Which is why it is so infuriating to see just how "hollow" the U.S. armed forces have become under The One's malignant control.  It's downright embarrassing, and it's going to be a downright slaughter if he blunders into a military confrontation with Putin and our "forces" on the southern end of the European front have to roll into battle with all four tanks and all three guns and all six SUVs.

You know who should be the symbol of The New Obamilitary?  Barney Fife....



....and his lone bullet.  Because it won't be too much longer until that's the sum total of the entire U.S. military arsenal as well.

And it'll be a "blank".
