In my neck of the woods the Saturday Anti-Sharia March was held in San Bernardino, an appropriate site since they decided to hold their protest on the location where Southern California last experienced Islamic terrorism with the 2015 attack. I was on the radio on KMET 1490-AM, so I could not attend, but I did give the ralliers in San Bernardino a shout-out.
The rallies were held across the country, and Islam hates it when the truth is pointed out about how the Muslim religion is the driving force behind worldwide instances of terrorism.
ACT! For America was behind organizing the rallies, with the most successful chapter in Corona run by Don Dix taking a significant role in getting the Southern California locations promoted and attended. The rallies occurred according to early reports in 28 cities in 19 States, from about 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, June 10.
The founder and president of ACT! for America, Brigitte Gabriel, has been very successful in putting out the message that Sharia is incompatible with our systems of liberty in the civilized world, but I was bothered by the fact that a little bit of Sharia leaked into the rallies. Fearful of betraying political correctness the groups said they are against Sharia, but not Islam. That very concession has Sharia dripping all over it. Sharia is Islam, and Islam is Sharia. Islam's goal is world domination, and to do so either through infiltration, or violence.
Islam sees it as being their obligation to make America Muslim ("all of America Muslim"), and that is nothing new (as revealed in this video from 1989). CSPAN still has the video on their site. The woman putting out the call to make America Muslim was Sharifa Alkhateeb. I find it fascinating that HATE is in her name.

Sharia is happening now in America. Islam is positioning. Violence as we've been seeing in Europe, where the percentage of the Muslim population is greater than here in the United States, is on its way. Terror and infiltration is what Islam does. And that is why I was bothered when I heard folks who were at the San Bernardino event say to me later "we stand against Sharia, not Islam."
The moderate Muslim claim is a myth, and even if moderate Muslims existed, they are as worthless as the Germans who did nothing to stop Nazism.

Sharia exists already in the United States because Muslims are in the United States. Some Muslim enclaves in the U.S. have become no-go zones, where “Sharia cops” rule, and American Law Enforcement does not dare interfere.
And don't forget the recent stories of female genital mutilation that has also been emerging in the United States. In Detroit, two Muslim doctors have allegedly mutilated the genitals of an estimated 100 or more girls, most between the ages of 6 and 8, according to the Detroit News. Those stories exist here because Islam exists here.
According to World Net Daily, a number of Speakers at the anti-Sharia rallies last Saturday were receiving death threats prior to the commencement of the rallies. Fortunately, an American patriotic group responded and agreed to provide private security for the events. Those threats were not because of some small group perverting Islam. Those threats exist because Islam exists. We know that deception and violence is a part of Islam's teachings, so why would we believe Muslims who say they are peaceful?
At the rallies, based on personal testimony by those who attended to this writer, while there was a number of persons at the rallies there in opposition, the members of the Anti-Sharia rallies outnumbered them. That said, confrontation did occur. Counter-protesters made sure they made a mark. . .
