Identity politics, first of all, is a Marxist scheme. The very idea of equality through government mandate is communist at its core. Our problem as a country when it comes to the racial divide is that we have been chasing man's definition of equality, rather than God's.
As a result of a false promise of equality based on mankind's interpretation of it we have a liberal left alliance with blacks in America demanding by force the removal of statues of Confederate generals. They are screaming for the annihilation of any remnants of the Confederate battle flag. The warriors of Marxist-style equality are foaming at the mouth, calling for, in the name of equality and an end of racism, the destruction of the images of Generals Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee and Confederate States of America President Jefferson Davis from Stone Mountain in Georgia.
Black people who have never experience slavery are screaming at white people who have never owned slaves to destroy any remnant of a war in America's history that led to the abolition of slavery over 150 years ago. The problem is, the slavery never truly ended. The plantations may have ceased doing business in the open, but the Democrat Party plantation lives on.
The Republican Party, which had been created with the idea of abolishing slavery in mind, fought the racists of the Democrat Party for a century in an attempt to ensure that equality in opportunity and the ability to pursue liberty also existed in the black community.
When John F. Kennedy wanted to put into place a civil rights act, his Democrat Party brethren rejected the idea, and so the Democrat President went to the leaders of the Republican Party to help him with the proposed legislation. The Republicans supported the bill, and after a filibuster by the Democrats against it, eventually President Lyndon B. Johnson reluctantly signed it. It was then that Johnson and the Democrats realized the importance of the emerging black voting block, and in a Marxist-style that the progressives of the Democrat Party had already embraced, the Party of Slavery slammed into place the rebirth of the plantation, providing as many gifts from the treasury as they could through government programs and "anti-poverty" initiatives. The attitude of the racist Democrats has always been that blacks are too stupid or too timid to take care of themselves, but that's okay, because the plantation will continue to provide housing, food, and other essentials, but instead of it being provided by a Southern Democrat slave owner, the provider will be government, with welfare programs, and affirmative action programs, that will keep blacks, in the words of President Johnson, "voting Democrat for the next 200 years".
The black population fell for the lies and the gifts of benefits, and were brought right back into the Democrat Party plantation, adopting the Marxist foundation upon which the plantation was erected. Now, 95% of blacks vote Democrat, and as a result of being a part of the voting public perpetuating the new plantation, black poverty is out of control, the black community is ranked lowest in education, black neighborhoods experience the highest crime rates, and the family unit in the black community has literally crumbled right before our eyes.
After fifty years of domination by the Democrat Party in the black community, and dominantly black cities being run by Democrats, the result has been catastrophic to the black community.
The war on black poverty has cost the United States triple the amount of money we've paid for in all U.S. military wars since the American Revolution, and the result is that poverty has not only refused to surrender, but it is on the rise - especially in Black America.
Life in the United States, under the support of Democrat Party policies that fuel the new plantation, has worsened for blacks in America.
In 1940, 86 percent of black children were born inside marriage, and the black illegitimacy rate was about 15 percent. Today, only 35 percent of black children are born inside marriage, and the illegitimacy rate hovers around 75 percent. Meanwhile, abortion is running rampant in the black community, creating the stark reality that the most dangerous place for a black in America to live is in their own mother's womb. In New York City, for example, more black babies are aborted each year than are born alive.
Even worse is the fact that under the first black President of the United States, Barack Obama, it got even worse, and he racial divide in this country has become more volatile, and more divisive.
In Chicago, one person is shot every two hours, 15 minutes, and a person is murdered every 12 1/2 hours. Black on black violence has increased, but the racists of the Democrat Party claim it's all because of "white privilege."
Which brings us back to the targets and crosshairs being placed on Confederate statues, and anything else that has anything to do with the era during which the Democrat Party was the party of slavery.
Has anyone considered that all of this might be the Democrat Party's way of erasing their fingerprints from everything that reveals their involvement in America's history of slavery? Could it be that they are trying to hide the reality that they remain racist to this day, and the plantation lives on in Democrat Party policies?
Children from fatherless homes are likelier to drop out of high school, die by suicide, have behavioral disorders, join gangs, commit crimes, and end up in prison. They are also likelier to live in poverty-stricken households.
Two-parent black families are rarely poor. Only 8 percent of black married-couple families live in poverty. Among black families in which both the husband and wife work full time, the poverty rate is under 5 percent. Poverty in black families headed by single women is 37 percent.
The undeniable truth is that neither slavery nor Jim Crow nor the harshest racism has decimated the black family the way the welfare state has.
In every census from 1890 to 1954, blacks were either just as active or more so than whites in the labor market. During that earlier period, black teen unemployment was roughly equal to or less than white teen unemployment. And, during that time period black families largely had both parents in the household.
As early as 1900, the duration of black unemployment was 15 percent shorter than that of whites. Today it’s about 30 percent longer.
The emergence of the single-parent household as a majority in the black community coincides with the emergence of welfare programs targeting black households. As black families welcomed welfare programs provided by the Democrats, fathers moved out, and poverty went on the rise. Education suffered, and gang-affiliation and crime went on the rise in black communities.

Coincidence?
Democrat policies keeping blacks on the Democrat plantation has destroyed the black community, and then when the finger gets pointed, the Democrats immediately claim that every problem confronting blacks is a result of a legacy of slavery and discrimination as they work to erase their fingerprints on the history of slavery and discrimination.
At what point will the truth be considered? When will the promise of liberty emerge in Black America? At what point will the black community realize that the Marxism and plantation offered by the Democrats is at the foundation of their woes? When will the free market and liberty offered by a constitutionally-based government that shuns the concept of equal misery being offered by Marxism emerge in the minds of blacks in America as being their ticket out of the misery being provided by the leftist agenda?
The ball is in the court of blacks in America. They can accept a deepening journey into bondage that may eventually snare all of us under the iron fist of government, or they can abandon the same path they've been following with the Democrat Party and realize that the concept of laissez-faire is what should be pursued. The problem is, we are fast approaching a crossroads in this country, where the potential of the tyranny of cultural Marxism shackling all of us may be upon us. Equality in misery under a Marxist agenda is what the leftists of the Democrat Party (and infiltrators of the Republican Party) have to offer. Such bondage, while it would likely awaken the desire for liberty inside of many of the people who had not considered it before, would also put us into a position where our System of Liberty may be lost forever.
