Mitt Romney's "Jeeps in China" Lie Turns Out Not To Have Been A Lie!

By Douglas V. Gibbs

In the 2012 Presidential Election, a large number of the voters that pulled the lever for Barack Obama didn't necessarily do it because they wanted to vote the President back into office, but because the believed the false propaganda being spread by the Democrats about Romney.  In other words, many of Obama's votes were votes against Romney, because people feared what Mitt would do in office based on false information contained within the personal attacks by the democrats against the GOP Presidential Candidate.

The Character Assassination of Mitt Romney was largely based on lies, and half-truths, just as were the attacks against Sarah Palin four years earlier, and the attacks against Robert Bork a couple decades earlier.  Now that the truth is slowly surfacing, nobody cares, and most of those that voted for Obama aren't paying attention.

PolitiFact's "Lie of the Year" last month was awarded to Mitt Romney, when he indicated that Jeep was going to move production to China.  The liberal left sheep claimed Romney twisted an accurate news story into falsehood, and despite denial by Jeep's parent company, Romney ran with it, and even turned it into a television campaign ad.

The voting public expressed outrage at Romney daring to say such a thing. And as the media and public expressed collective outrage against Romney's statement, the truth was bubbling into action in the offices of Italy's Fiat, who had recently purchased Jeep.

On January 17, 2013, Reuters produced the following headline: Fiat sees at least 100,000 Jeeps made in China in 2014

Hmmmmm, it turns out Mitt Romney knew what he was talking about, and the liberal left idiots didn't.

Just Sayin'.

Okay, let's see.  I was right about Trayvon Martin being the attacker, not Zimmerman; I was right about Obama planning on going after guns (see below); and I was right about Romney's claim regarding Jeep, just to name a few, yet the liberal left keeps saying things about me being wrong, and on the wrong side of history.

Hey, libs, quit drinking the Kool-Aid and grab a hold of the truth, every once in a while.  It might be surprising for you, but at least you won't be a liar, or a sheep, anymore.

Regarding gun control, I have always indicated that Obama planned to go after guns, and the liberal left commenters of my site always said, "Obama has never said anything about gun control."  I saw it, they didn't.

In July of 2012 I wrote: I have always found it interesting that people like Obama supports the ban of assault weapons, yet it is those very kind of firearms that are used to protect his own family.

In December of 2011, once again, I explained how the Fast and Furious Scandal was designed to anger Americans about U.S. produced guns getting in the hands of the Mexican Drug Cartels and make the people demand gun control.

In March of 2011 the title of my piece was "Gun Owners in Democrat's Crosshairs".

In August of 2009 I wrote that the liberal left sees conservatives as "violent racists," and MSNBC used an image of a man with a semi-automatic rifle at a "right-wing rally" near where Obama was speaking, to drive home their point.  They were insinuating that anger over the election of a black president might drive these people to violence.  One of the underlying themes of the liberal left's attacks was the danger of firearms.

In April of 2009 I accused the Liberal Democrats for wanting to go after guns, indicating that they were using a recent rash of shootings as an excuse, and were just waiting for the shootings to get the American public on their side on gun control.

Yeah, I saw this gun control stuff coming.
